11/20/2009 Easton recalls EA30 Stems
"Easton has identified a potential safety issue involving the four bolt Easton EA 30 stem. The stem in question can crack and eventually break during use, therefore Easton is voluntarily recalling all of the 2007, 2008 and 2009 EA 30 stems affected." To see Easton's recall click here
6/11/2009 CT Department of Transportation's "Share the Road" awareness campaign
A new law that has gone into effect requiring motorists to allow at least three feet of separation when overtaking and passing cyclists on Connecticut roads. Motorists who fail to allow at least three feet of separation could be fined. There is now a “Share the Road” website (www.sharetheroadct.org). The site contains easy-to-access and share messages about the law and road safety.
